Commercial Construction SuperintendentYellowstone Traditions is an established builder based in Bozeman, recognized for exceptional craftsmanship, strong collaboration, and a long-standing reputation for excellence across the West. While rooted in high-end residential building, we are well versed in commercial construction and are seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead high-quality projects.Compensation: Wage DOE_Position OverviewOur Superintendents are leaders on the jobsite; responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong field leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades and stakeholders across commercial construction projects._Key Responsibilities•Lead all on-site construction activities, including daily operations, scheduling, safety enforcement, quality control, and subcontractor coordination. •Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules (short-range and master schedules) •Collaborate closely with Project Managers to coordinate logistics, resources, and resolve challenges. •Review project documents, subcontracts, and purchase orders during preconstruction and throughout the project lifecycle. •Oversee site logistics, planning, and sequencing of all work activities. •Ensure full compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental requirements (including SWPPP and stormwater management) •Conduct and document daily reports, safety meetings, inspections, and progress updates. •Perform ongoing quality control inspections to ensure work meets YT company standards, manufacturer specifications, and local/state codes. •Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, contracts, and technical documents. •Manage procurement and staging of materials, tools, and equipment to ensure workflow efficiency. •Track and maintain company-owned and rented equipment in coordination with maintenance personnel. •Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal team members. •Mentor and develop field staff, foremen, and crew members. •Step in hands-on (“bags on”) when project conditions require. _Qualifications•Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman on commercial construction projects •Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and building systems. •Proven ability to manage multiple trades and complex project schedules. •Working knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and inspection processes •Experience with construction software (e.g., PlanGrid or similar) preferred. •Ability to read and interpret construction documents and contracts. •Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills _Preferred Qualifications•Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) •SWPPP certification or experience with environmental compliance programs •Equipment certifications (telehandler, skid steer, scissor lift, boom lift) •Ongoing professional development and training _What We Value•Integrity, accountability, and leadership •Commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship •Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills •Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement. _What We Offer•Performance-based bonus•Paid Health Insurance •Health Savings Account (HSA) •Flex (Cafeteria) Plan •Dental & Vision Insurance •Short Term Disability / Accident Insurance / Critical Illness Insurance •Paid Long Term Disability and Life Insurance •Matching 401K Retirement Plan •Paid Holidays •Paid Vacation after 6 months All interested applicants are encouraged to apply.
