A Flagger is responsible for controlling and directing traffic in construction, roadwork, utility work zones, and special events to ensure the safey of workers, motorists, and pedestrians. This role involves using signs, hand signals, and communication devices to guide vehicles safely through or around work areas. Flaggers must remain alert at all times, follow established traffice control plans, and respond quickly to changing conditions to prevent and maintain smooth traffic flow.
