The Newfane Central School District is recruiting for substitute teachers,certified and uncertified, in all academic areas and grade levels (PreKindergarten - Grade 12). Valid NYS teaching certification is preferred.

Applicants must be fingerprinted through the NYS Education Department and receive clearance prior to employment. Applicants are responsible for fees associated with the fingerprinting process.

Rates of Pay :

CertifiedSubstitute Teachers:

Per Diem (Less than 10 continuous days in same assignment) $130.00/day Short Term (A minimum of 10 days to 90 days in same assignment) $140.00/day Long Term (One semester or more in same assignment) Per NTA Agreement - Appendix A

UncertifiedSubstitute Teachers:

Per Diem $110.00/day

• Assignments may be for either a half-day or full day. Pay for a half-day assignment is prorated.
