The Production Manager is responsible for leading a best-in-class manufacturing team with a focus on teamwork, quality, and productivity. The role involves serving as a Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement champion, ensuring compliance with Quality System requirements, and adhering to environmental, health, and safety policies.
Responsibilities
Hire and manage a top-performing manufacturing team for all products.
Establish goals, oversee cross-training, and create a highly motivating environment.
Collaboratively engage with the Operations and Quality team using Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement.
Work with the Supply Chain team to establish production and capacity planning.
Optimize product handling, workflow, and line balance.
Assist in the design and execution of ongoing cross-training programs.
Establish, report, and respond to key performance measures.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
5+ years of experience as a Production Manager in a medical device environment.
Proven track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
Excellent team player, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
Ability to work independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Paylocity or Ease is a plus.
Work Environment
The position involves managing a team with assemblers starting at 5 am, working four 10-hour days. The role typically requires a 5-day workweek, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with potential for earlier start times to align with the assembler team.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
