Job Title: Production Assembler
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an AM Shift Production Assembler, where you'll play a critical role in manufacturing medical devices. This position involves working on a fast-paced production line, assembling units with small hand tools, and rotating through 13 stations over a training period of 2-3 months. You will collaborate with team members to complete production orders efficiently.
Work Environment
Our clean and diverse work environment fosters pride in product building and values all backgrounds. The dress code is casual, but special cleanroom protocols, such as removing cosmetics and jewelry, must be followed. The AM shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a team of around 60 people on the production floor. The PM shift runs 3:30 pm to 12:00 am. Note that eating, drinking, and the use of phones are not permitted on the production line.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team to complete production orders on time.
Rotate through 13 stations, learning and mastering each within 2-3 months.
Assemble units using small hand tools, following written English instructions.
Maintain a steady pace to prevent bottlenecks on the production line.
Work in a cleanroom environment on a rotating schedule, standing for the entire shift while labeling and packaging products.
Adhere to all cleanroom protocols and dress code requirements.
Essential Skills
Valid 2-year visa from the date of hire.
At least 1 year of recent experience in a similar assembly environment.
Proficient use of small hand tools, such as crimpers, screwdrivers, and tweezers.
Ability to work with small parts and pieces during assembly.
Capability to stand for the entire shift.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
Basic computer skills, verified during screening.
Good English communication skills, both verbal and reading.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with soldering and PCB assembly in a regulated work environment.
Ability to read and follow instructions for soldering, including matching numbers to wires.
