Job Title: Technician
Job Description
This role involves the meticulous process of uninstalling equipment and preparing monitors by removing them from brackets and bagging them for transport to a new location. Upon arrival, the setup must be executed professionally, with mandatory cable management. Experience in desktop support is advantageous as attention to detail is crucial.
Work Environment
The work involves moving equipment from one facility to another in Burnaby, BC. The dress code is professional, and the work will be conducted during daytime hours as per the schedule outlined, ensuring all setups are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Uninstall equipment and prepare monitors for transport.
Ensure all equipment is bagged and ready for moving.
Set up equipment at the new location following professional standards.
Manage cables effectively to meet designated standards.
Essential Skills
Experience in crimping, PCB, soldering, and testing.
Mechanical assembly and hand tool proficiency.
Attention to detail and technical experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in desktop support is helpful.
Experience with assembly line, packaging, and cleanroom inspection.
Technical experience with overseas IT exposure is acceptable.
