The Electro Mechanical Specialist is responsible for executing daily production tasks and project work as part of the manufacturing build plan for aseptic filling systems. This role spans both electrical assembly and mechanical assembly responsibilities, including building cable harnesses, installing system wiring, producing complex mechanical subassemblies, final assemblies, and performing system testing.
This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is part of the Manufacturing & Operations team located in Burnaby, BC. This is a full time on‑site role.
What you will do:
Assemble cable harnesses, perform wiring termination, and build electro‑mechanical assemblies
Produce mechanical sub‑assemblies and final assemblies using precision tools. Perform product testing, troubleshooting, and machine configuration
Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and established manufacturing processes
Who you are:
5+ years of hands‑on electrical and mechanical assembly experience. Skilled in cable harness assembly, mechanical builds, and system testing
Detail‑oriented, quality‑focused, and comfortable in a complex production environment
Able to read engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Confident raising concerns and ensuring safe, accurate work
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Working in the medical, aerospace, or other highly regulated environment
Have experience in lean manufacturing

The salary range for this role is CAD72,000-76,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
