Carpenter – Institutional Project
We’re looking for experienced Carpenters to join our team on a major institutional build. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work, can operate with minimal supervision, and enjoys contributing to both the exterior and interior phases of a large project.
What You’ll Do
Install 1” backing around windows, louvers, and doors with accuracy and consistency.
Apply two layers of ½” backing across all four sides of the building’s exterior.
Prepare surfaces and structures for exterior cladding installation .
Transition to interior backing once exterior work is complete, including backing for cabinets and washrooms.
Support general site clean-up and maintain a safe, organized work area.
What You Bring
5+ years of carpentry experience , ideally with both interior and exterior backing.
Strong proficiency with drills, circular saws , and other essential tools.
Ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal direction.
Valid boom lift ticket and in-person fall protection certification .
Your own set of power tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints .
A reliable, team-oriented attitude.

Work Environment
All work takes place within a secured, fenced area on school grounds , where professionalism and presentable conduct are essential. Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
