Immediate Hiring For a Quality Control Technician

Job Description

The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the overall quality and compliance of products or services within a company.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, or spectrometers, and perform visual inspections to ensure consistent quality of production.

  • Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision, while knowing when to seek assistance.

  • Ensure proficiency with computers, particularly Microsoft Office, Excel programs, and statistical software packages.

  • Apply excellent problem-solving techniques in various situations.

  • Operate effectively within a team environment as well as independently.

  • Engage in quality control, assembly, troubleshooting, and quality assurance tasks.

  • Handle electrical and electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, and pneumatics.

  • Perform PLC troubleshooting, automation, hydraulics, and inspection tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, or spectrometers.

  • Ability to read blueprints.

  • Experience in a relevant manufacturing field.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel programs.

  • Understanding of statistical software packages.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Manufacturing experience in a technical role.

  • Previous experience in PV module manufacturing is preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
