Job Description
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the overall quality and compliance of products or services within a company.
Responsibilities
Utilize measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, or spectrometers, and perform visual inspections to ensure consistent quality of production.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Work independently with minimal supervision, while knowing when to seek assistance.
Ensure proficiency with computers, particularly Microsoft Office, Excel programs, and statistical software packages.
Apply excellent problem-solving techniques in various situations.
Operate effectively within a team environment as well as independently.
Engage in quality control, assembly, troubleshooting, and quality assurance tasks.
Handle electrical and electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, and pneumatics.
Perform PLC troubleshooting, automation, hydraulics, and inspection tasks.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, or spectrometers.
Ability to read blueprints.
Experience in a relevant manufacturing field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel programs.
Understanding of statistical software packages.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Manufacturing experience in a technical role.
Previous experience in PV module manufacturing is preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
