Location: Bedford, NH
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with flexibility required
Annual Salary Range: $70,000–$75,000
Monthly Vehicle Allowance: $650
*This position will require frequent travel to Vermont and availability to work early morning, evenings and weekends.
The Securitas Northern New England Area is seeking a Training & Development Manager to lead NNE’s New Hampshire and Vermont branches training compliance and drive the ongoing development of Securitas employees. ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Training & Development Manager plans, coordinates, and delivers training programs for Security Officers, Supervisors, and other team members. The role ensures compliance with all company and state-mandated training requirements while developing tailored programs that meet the needs of specific clients and sites. This is a salaried leadership role with responsibility for independent decision-making related to major training functions and initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Support operational leadership in achieving training and development objectives; partner with management to establish annual training goals.
•Ensure compliance with all legally mandated and company-required training programs; maintain documentation to meet client contract requirements.
•Conduct training needs analyses and collaborate with managers to identify gaps, training methods, and solutions.
•Develop training policies, programs, and schedules based on identified needs while coordinating to avoid service disruptions.
•Select and implement effective instructional methods (classroom, group training, self-study, simulations, computer-based training, etc.).
•Create and maintain training manuals, reference materials, assessments, multimedia aids, and other instructional resources.
•Train instructors and supervisors in effective training delivery, including orientation programs, on-the-job training, safety practices, supervisory development, and policy updates.
•Maintain training records, generate statistical reports, and evaluate program effectiveness and trainee progress.
•Perform related duties and tasks as required to support the office and training functions
Education/Experience:
2–3+ years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Experience in training or management preferred
Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
Ability to assess training needs and deliver effective programs
Proficient with computers and presentation tools
Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills
Ability to coach, mentor, and provide feedback
Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels
Customer-focused with a results-driven mindset
Ability to learn and apply security operations
Preferred Certifications:
AVADE Instructor
MOAB Instructor
CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor
Firearms Instructor (a plus)
MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a reliable means of communication
• Must have a reliable means of transportation
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and onboarding check.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Frequent walking, reaching with hands and arms, and lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds in set-up for and delivery of training programs.
