Posting Summary
Assist with the day-to-day implementation of the Healthy Brain Child Development Study, which is a federally funded research study in the Department of Psychiatry. HBCD will recruit pregnant people as study participants, and follow both the caregiver and child for up to 10 years. This position is responsible for recruiting and screening potential participants, scheduling, obtaining subject informed consent, and performing developmental, neurocognitive, psychological tests, as well as coordinating sample collection and analysis under daily supervision. Utilize Ripple, LORIS , NIH Toolbox, and a variety of other database management platforms for testing and data management. Assist with the program budget, maintain files and records, use discretion regarding sensitive information, and maintain confidentiality within the framework of the University guidelines. Additional responsibilities include seeing that study participants are compensated and assisting with purchasing study-related equipment and supplies. Provide own transportation for occasional travel required to perform home visits to study participants and distribute flyers and incentive program initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or closely related discipline and one to three years’ related experience required.
Desirable Qualifications
Prior research experience is desirable, as is any experience with clinical populations and/or children.
Anticipated Pay Range $23.00 - $27.00/hour

Special Conditions A probationary period may be required, Contingent on continued funding, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
