rPosting Summary
r
Assist in the smooth daily operation of Henderson\'s Cafe, located within the UVM Bookstore. Perform opening or closing duties on a set schedule, routinely prepare coffee and specialty drinks, operate a cash register, maintain Cafe systems and displays, supervise student employees, and provide excellent customer service to customers and visitors.

rMinimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
r
High School diploma required. An understanding of basic retail practices and knowledge of computer operations required. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice and training, fostering a collaborative multicultural environment.
r
rDesirable Qualifications
rFamiliarity with retail sales and operations desired.
Experience in a fast-paced restaurant or caf experience very desirable.
r
rAnticipated Pay Range
r18.50-19.10
r
rOther Information
rMust be able to work some weekends, evenings, and occasional university holidays with occasional overtime.
r
rSpecial Conditions
rA probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), This position is ineligible for telework due to the essential functions, Background Check required for this position
