a. Supervision
- Research Faculty (7)
- Staff (1) - Graduate Program Coordinator
- Adjunct and Secondary Appointments
b. Strategic Research Leadership
- Coordinate pursuit of interdisciplinary funding through targeted collaborative grants and management of the McIntire-Stennis program
- Work with OVPR grant proposal staff to target specific grant opportunities for faculty.
- Coordinate advancement of research with research program and facilities directors
1. RUBE Lab Director
2. Director of Research Forests
3. Spatial Analysis Lab Director
4. Spear St. Forest Ecosystems Lab Director
- Oversee opportunities for professional development pertaining to scholarship and identify pathways to support faculty scholarship
c. Admin
- Liaison with Office of the Vice President for Research and UVM research institutes (e.g. Gund, Water, Agroecology, LCOM centers)
- Liaison to SPA 2.0, RBSC, IRB, legal, etc.
- Oversee facilities management with RSENR Facilities Manager
d. Graduate Program
- Liaison with Graduate College
- Coordinate with Grad Program Directors (RSENR NR Grad Program Coordinator and MLS / TLCS Program Coordinator)
- Oversee grad admissions, recruitment, retention
- Oversee scholarships and graduate funding opportunities
