Executive Assistant

Labcorp is seeking a hybrid Executive Assistant to join our team at 531 S Spring Street, Burlington, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the SVP, Chief Compliance, Privacy & Sustainability Officer and senior leadership within the Corporate Compliance Department, ensuring seamless coordination of schedules, communications, and operational tasks

  • Manage complex andfrequentlychanging calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and conference calls for senior executives.

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, prepare detailed itineraries, and supportlogisticsfor meetings and events.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, exercising sound judgment in triaging and prioritizing requests.

  • Maintain and organize confidential files, records, and documentationin accordance withcompany policies.

  • Distribute mail and ensuretimelyhandling of all incoming and outgoing communications.

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events, including team meetings, executive briefings, and special projects.

  • Prepare meeting agendas, compile materials, and support follow-up actions as needed.

  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders tofacilitateeffective communication and collaboration

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience in a corporate or executive environment

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’sdegree

  • Prior experience supporting seniormanagementSVP and/or C-Suite level Executives

Additional Job Standard s:

  • Ability to work a schedule of three in-office days at 531 S Spring Street, Burlington, North Carolina and two remote workdays per week

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, andoperatewith minimal supervision, while exercising good judgment on when and how to escalateissues.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills; able to draft correspondence and reports for executive audiences.

  • Proventrack recordofmaintainingconfidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive inanticipatingneeds.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST

Location: This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office days at 531 S Spring Street, Burlington, North Carolina and two remote workdays per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior _relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. _

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
