Stantec’s New England Transportation group is looking for a BIM Modeling intern in Massachusetts for Spring/Summer 2026!
We are seeking a current student with a strong command of Revit-based BIM workflows to support structural and waterfront projects including wharves, piers, and associated buildings. This role is ideal for someone who thinks in models first, understands multidisciplinary coordination (including MEP), and uses CAD as a supporting tool rather than a primary workflow.
Your Key Responsibilities:
You will collaborate closely with engineers and designers to deliver coordinated models and high-quality construction documentation while continuing to grow your BIM expertise.
Other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned to support the team.
Capabilities and Credentials:
Must have good organizational and time management skills, be punctual, reliable, detail oriented, and capable of taking initiative and working independently when needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both office and virtual environments
Microsoft Office experience
Experience with BIM, with Revit as the primary design and documentation tool
Revit experience required, with demonstrated progression toward BIM-centric workflows
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D; used as supporting tools rather than primary platforms.
Experience in structural and MEP disciplines, with civil and architectural projects preferred
Education and Experience:
Previous internship or co-op experience in similar type work or office environment preferred
Must be a college student working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or a related degree.

Pay Range:
• $23.47 - $34.50 Hourly
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
