Job Title: Operations SpecialistPosition OverviewA local transportation partner for a large global logistics group is seeking a proactive and detailed‑driven Operations Specialist to support our growing operations. This role requires strong knowledge of logistics and transportation, including international freight, along with hands-on experience using SAP. The ideal candidate is adaptable, eager to learn, and able to work flexible hours to meet operational demands.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily logistics and transportation activities for domestic and international shipments.Manage freight movements, track delivery status, and ensure compliance with global shipping requirements.Use SAP to process orders, maintain accurate data, and support supply chain workflows.Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.Prepare and review shipping documentation, including import/export paperwork.Monitor logistics performance, identify inefficiencies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.Assist with reporting, KPI tracking, and operational analysis as needed.QualificationsExperience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.Working knowledge of international freight processes (air or cross‑border).SAP proficiency is required.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.Ability to work flexible hours based on operational demands.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.Additional DetailsPay rate is negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.
