Job Description: Employees will perform seasonal tasks during the peak activity period, including planting, irrigation, harvesting, and maintenance work that arises during the busy spring through fall seasons. Workers will operate farm equipment such as tractors, semi-trucks with grain trailers, and forklifts to support crop production. Duties include field preparation, fertilizing, planting, spraying, and harvesting of wheat and corn. Spraying must be done precisely and timely based on weather conditions. Workers will inspect and maintain irrigation systems,

including checking wells, changing oil, adjusting nozzles, and repairing sprinklers as needed. General farm maintenance tasks include keeping equipment, vehicles, shops, and work areas clean and organized. Workers may be required to perform basic mechanical repairs and routine servicing to ensure machinery is field-ready. Additional duties may include loading and unloading crops, monitoring crop health, and performing other related farm labor as directed by the employer. This job requires skill, reliability, and the ability to work independently. All work must be performed with attention to detail and care for equipment and safety. At least 12 months of prior experience in similar agricultural work is required. Employment is at-will, but the employer generally follows an escalatory disciplinary process: a written warning followed by termination notice for unresolved issues or serious misconduct. Termination for cause may result from poor performance, unsafe operation of equipment, or failure to follow instructions. This process ensures fair treatment but does not change the at-will nature of employment. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday.
