Personnel Plus Inc., now hiring for a Local Route Driver, driver usually begins with loading your assigned truck and ensuring the correct products are prepared for each stop. After loading, drivers deliver materials to local job sites along assigned routes. Drivers typically work shifts of up to 8 hours depending on traffic and weather conditions, and this local route position allows drivers to return home daily. In addition to driving, the role also includes warehouse support such as loading and unloading freight and assisting with general warehouse tasks. For the most part the position is part-time, but it could potentially lead to full-time if thats something youre interested in. You must be willing to spend part of the day helping out in the yard or warehouse when theyre not on deliveries.
The main route would be from Jerome to Hailey each day. The other routes they would learn are Heyburn to Rexburg and Heyburn to Caldwell. Those two routes are full driving days but would only be run when covering for other drivers who are taking time off.
Pay: \$20.00 per hour

Monday Friday
06:30 am-12:30pm
30 hrs week or more
Responsibilities
Load the assigned truck with the correct products for each delivery
Deliver materials to local job sites
Assist with loading and unloading freight
Support warehouse operations when needed
Operate a forklift when required
Other duties may be assigned
Requirements
Experience operating a forklift
Experience driving a commercial truck
Valid drivers license required
Reliable and able to work independently
Must be able to lift 60lbs
May require sitting, standing, reaching, lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, and pulling item.
