Job Title: Groundskeeper
Job Description
The Groundskeeper is responsible for the general upkeep, appearance, and safety of the HOA’s common outdoor areas. This role plays a vital part in maintaining curb appeal, supporting property values, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors. The position is primarily outdoors and involves routine grounds maintenance, seasonal work, and light exterior repairs.
Responsibilities
Perform routine grounds maintenance to ensure a clean and visually appealing environment.
Carry out seasonal work to prepare and maintain outdoor areas according to the time of year.
Conduct light exterior repairs as needed to uphold the safety and functionality of common areas.
Use hand and power tools effectively for various groundskeeping tasks.
Ensure trash removal to maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all common areas.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in groundskeeping techniques.
Experience with trash removal.
Skillful use of hand tools.
Competency in operating power tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to perform light repairs.
Experience in general upkeep of outdoor areas.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. Occasionally, availability on weekends is required, approximately once per quarter. You will be part of a team of 7 on the groundskeeping team.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burke, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
