Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Early Childhood (FMLA Coverage) - Burbank, IL
Schedule: Up to 32 hours/week
Rate: $65 per hour
Duration: March 4, 2026 – End of the Year
Hours: 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM (30-minute unpaid break)
Position Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist will support Early Childhood clients through a blend of therapy services, diagnostic evaluations, documentation, and interdisciplinary meetings. This assignment covers an FMLA leave and offers a collaborative environment with support from other SLPs within the cooperative.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic evaluations for Early Childhood clients.
Provide therapy services to approximately 9–10 PM Early Childhood clients (2 days/week).
Complete documentation and reports (primarily mornings on two designated days).
Participate in evaluation meetings, planning discussions, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Deliver services in accordance with each client’s plan of care and applicable clinical guidelines.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Work collaboratively with other SLPs and cooperative staff.
Schedule Breakdown
2 days/week: AM report writing; PM Early Childhood therapy
3 days/week: Diagnostic evaluations and meetings
Minimum Requirements
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment
CCC-SLP preferred (may be required depending on contract needs)
SLP-CFs may be considered, but supervision is not available
CPR certification, if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if required)
Current health certificate (per state/contract requirements)
Must meet all applicable federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
