Bunnell, FL | Combined MRF & Transfer Station
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Schedule: Rotating shifts 5:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Saturday 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (rotating after training)
Overview:
Seeking a hands-on Working Supervisor to lead by example. Must coach and mentor team members, hold tough conversations, enforce accountability, and promote a strong safety culture. Role requires walking the facility multiple times daily and working outdoors in all weather.
Preferred Qualifications:
Leadership experience with team coaching and accountability
Safety-focused mindset; adaptable and solution-oriented
Strong computer skills
Yellow iron mechanical knowledge a plus
Heavy equipment experience preferred (Loader, Excavator, Forklift)
I. Job Summary
Supervises daily operations in order to improve production, maintain costs, and ensure safety.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manages daily (plant) operations and maintains inventory for safety and operation supplies.
Reviews and evaluates work to ensure quality, timeliness and ensures quality control in adherence to policies and procedures.
Manages (plant) logistics and materials; supervises daily production; enters finished goods into inventory; orders supplies as needed.
Supervises production staff and coordinates workflow and assignments toward the achievement of operational goals.
Oversees operations personnel needs including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
Investigates, reviews and controls implementation of safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
Creates and submits weekly and month end reports to senior management.
III. Qualifications
A. Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
Four (4) to six (6) years previous experience (in addition to education requirement)
B. Preferred Qualifications
- Mobile Equipment Operator, CPR First Aid
