ManpowerGroup Director of Benefits in Bunker Hill Village, Texas

Our client, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Benefits to join their team. As a Director of Benefits, you will be an integral part of the Human Resources department supporting the benefits administration and strategic planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Director of Benefits

Location: Houston, Texas (2-3 days onsite)

Pay Range: $160,000 - $200,000( fulltime/ direct hire)

What's the Job?

  • Design, develop, and oversee the administration of comprehensive benefit programs to attract and retain top talent.

  • Manage relationships with external consultants, brokers, and trustees to ensure optimal benefit plan performance and compliance.

  • Ensure all benefit programs adhere to IRS, ERISA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with HR leadership to align benefits strategies with overall business goals and organizational culture.

  • Lead and develop the benefits team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR Management, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing benefits operations, including health, welfare, and retirement plans.

  • Proven expertise in plan design, evaluation, compliance, and implementation for various benefit programs.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and database management.

  • Strong knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and healthcare reform laws.
