?️ What You’ll Do
Weld and fabricate structural components for custom filtration skids
Work with aluminum, stainless steel, and various structural metals
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and build specifications
Ensure all welds meet strict safety, quality, and project requirements
Perform inspections and tests to verify structural integrity
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and fabrication area
Collaborate with team members to solve fabrication challenges
Assist in mentoring junior welders as needed
? What You Bring
Minimum 3 years of structural/MIG welding experience; TIG competency preferred
Proficiency welding aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steels
Ability to interpret technical drawings, prints, and schematics
Strong understanding of welding safety standards and shop safety practices
Experience performing quality checks and structural weld inspections
High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Ability to maintain a safe, organized, efficient workspace
⭐ Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent)
Familiarity with PPE standards and shop safety protocols
Ability to lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift
High school diploma or equivalent
? Work Environment
Work in a hands‑on, industrial fabrication shop alongside experienced welders and fabricators. The production floor is:
Open and well‑ventilated
Not climate‑controlled (seasonal temperature changes apply)
Active with fabrication, assembly, and material movement
PPE‑required to maintain safety around welding, cutting, and heavy equipment
Your day will include standing, bending, lifting, and working directly with metal components and welding equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
