As a training & development specialist you’ll play an important role in the success of the organization by using your attention to detail, resiliency, communication and collaboration skills to support the growth and development of Neighborhood employees.
About the Role:
You’ll work collaboratively with multiple departments to plan and coordinate organizational training initiatives and support employee onboarding and upskilling. You’ll use your organization skills to maintain the organizational training calendar, catalogue, and learning management system. Responsibilities include:
Planning and administering New Employee Orientation and onboarding in collaboration with Human Resources & hiring managers
Planning and administering the catalogue & deployment of organizational trainings
Executing workforce development and pipeline initiatives
Administering the learning management system
You will be based at our Riverway, 1569 Niagara Street, Buffalo NY 14213 but may occasionally be asked to work at another location.

Education and Skills:
Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience required
1- 5 years of experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Teamwork; you are open to others’ unique perspectives, and will collaborate to meet shared goals
Able to read, write and speak the English language. A second language of Spanish preferred
What We Offer:
Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 annually based on a 40 hour work week.
Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components.
