M&T Bank Systems Administrator I in Buffalo, New York
Overview:
This position will be responsible for providing support to Mortgage Servicing, including both performing and non-performing loans completing more basic system administration responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Identify terminated users and ensure removal of their access.
Complete user access provisioning for basic systems following established guidelines.
Complete table maintenance in basic systems.
Complete real-time validation to ensure work is properly completed for basic systems.
Facilitate basic user access recertifications
Participate in simpler projects impacting the Systems Administration team.
Participate in application testing for simpler system enhancements
Develop an in-depth understanding of the business and its functions, processes and operations
Follow up on requests until completion
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls. Keep documentation accurate, organized, and up to date, and track changes to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required:
Associates degree and a minimum of 1 years' relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 3 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 years' relevant work experience
Experience working independently or functioning as a member of a team
Basic computer skills, including pertinent software
Proven analytical skills
Proven problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Experience making decisions based on information provided
Education and Experience Preferred:
Bachelor's degree
Previous system administration experience
Previous banking experience
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $23.63 - $39.39 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
