Summary:
The Supervisor of Staffing requires an individual with strong computer knowledge and skills, who is able to work under pressure and demonstrate competency in the electronic scheduling and payroll system. This individual will work in collaboration with Nurse Managers, Directors, Staffing Coordinators, and Administrative Nursing Supervisors in the staffing process through the utilization of electronic scheduling and payroll system and will have oversight responsibility for the overall activities of the staffing coordinators/office. This individual will provide direction to the staffing coordinators to assist Nurse Managers, Directors, and Administrative Nursing Supervisors in the day to day and biweekly scheduling operations in accordance with the acuity levels while maintaining quality care. This individual will coordinate data entry into the electronic scheduling and payroll system for the nursing departments and process routine reports for schedules, time and attendance, and other reports as requested.

Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma
Associates Degree in Healthcare or related field required
Experience Requirements:
Minimum Three (3) years office experience preferred
Previous electronic scheduling and payroll experience preferred
Previous Healthcare experience preferred
Experience with staffing grids preferred
Experience with ADT programs (admission, discharge, transfer) preferred
Knowledge, Skills Ability:
Strong computer skills and ability to use basic office equipment, i.e., Fax, Copier, Scanner
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Knowledge of electronic scheduling and payroll
Excellent Customer Service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to enter schedules accurately
Knowledge of staffing principles in healthcare facility
Must be able to work independently and make sound decisions.
