Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Project Manager, Facilities. This position is preferred to be located inMinneapolis, MNbut can also sit inBuffalo, NY.

We are seeking a skilledGeneral Contractor/Project Managerto lead the architectural design and build-out of our new office space. This role requires a professional who can blend design expertise with rigorous vendor management to deliver a functional, aesthetic workspace. The successful candidate will oversee all subcontractors and utility installations, ensuring a fully operational workspace and kitchen.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Architectural Expertise:

  • Experience in architectural design and planning.

  • Ability to provide design recommendations and ensure the space is optimized for functionality and aesthetics.

Vendor Management:

  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors such as electricians, painters, plumbers, and other essential vendors.

  • Ensure all work is completed to high standards and within the project timeline.

Utility and Appliance Setup:

  • Oversee the installation and setup of all utilities and appliances, especially the kitchen and bathrooms.

  • Ensure the kitchen is fully operational by June 2026.

Project Timeline & Budget Management:

  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule and track budget/contracts of vendors.

  • Ensure the initial phase is completed by June 2026 and the final phase by December 2026.

Communication:

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with our team to provide updates and address any concerns.

WORK CONDITIONS

  • Travel is required up to 35% monthly.

  • Extended hours may be necessary depending on the project needs.

  • To fulfill these responsibilities, tools such as a computer, phone or, and / or allowance(s) will be provided.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Required college/university degree

Experience

  • 5+ years in a correlating role (i.e. responsibility with project management and negotiation)

Competencies

  • Capacity to identify optimization levers on the operating budgets of buildings, departments and services of functioning.

  • Capacity to share knowledge, skills and techniques to execute projects effectively and efficiently. Ability to lead a cross-functional team through a defined methodology using well-defined tools to reach the objective on time, on budget and on target.

  • Capacity to maintain, to detect, to anticipate and to solve the material incidents in the Group places (infrastructures, canteen, cleaners, gardeners, etc..).

  • Capacity to share knowledge, skills and techniques to execute projects effectively and efficiently. Ability to lead a cross-functional team through a defined methodology using well-defined tools to reach the objective on time, on budget and on target.

  • Ability to build a logical approach (assess situation, identify causes, target solutions, deploy it) to address problems or manage a situation by drawing on own knowledge and experience base and calling on other references and resources as necessary.

Salary Description

$85,000 - $95,000 annual
