Position Summary
The Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift leads and supervises unionized work groups to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely production of high‑quality products. This role plays a critical part in driving operational excellence, fostering a strong safety culture, and coordinating resources across departments to meet customer and business objectives.

What You Will Do
Production & Workforce Leadership
Supervise daily production operations to meet customer service, shipping, quality, safety, and cost objectives.
Lead and support unionized employees in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Coordinate daily labor scheduling and resource allocation to ensure efficient workflow.
Train, evaluate, coach, and take corrective action with employees as appropriate.
Safety & Culture
Proactively create and reinforce a strong culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
Ensure safe work practices are followed and address safety concerns promptly.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with Purchasing, Production Control, and Planning teams to ensure materials and supplies are available to meet scheduled ship dates.
Communicate effectively with functional teams across the organization to ensure on‑time delivery of quality products.
Coordinate with other supervisors to maintain efficient workflow across shifts.
Operational Management
Operate within established budgets and support cost‑control initiatives.
Utilize ERP/MRP systems to monitor production activity and support operational decision‑making.
What You Bring
Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience supervising employees in a unionized setting.
Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems; Plex experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience with Demand Flow Technologies and/or Lean Manufacturing principles.
Previous experience in engineered‑to‑order manufacturing environments preferred.
Heat exchanger and/or pressure vessel manufacturing experience preferred.
Knowledge of ASME code requirements preferred.
Working knowledge of metals and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including production floor exposure.
