South Buffalo Charter School Maintenance Mechanic in Buffalo, New York
Buffalo. South Buffalo Charter School. Maintenance Mechanic. $18 - $22/hour.
- Seasonal Maintenance; Lawn Maintenance, Snow Removal, Plowing
- Responsible for snow shoveling; running snowblower, keeping all walkways clear
- Refill Rock Salt containers, spread salt as needed
- Works on projects in order of priority
- Answers maintenance calls throughout the day
- Maintains and repair equipment and tools daily, routinely / seasonally including oil changes for equipment
- Performs Minor Electrical and Plumbing
- Performs minor maintenance, repairs to building & property
- Repair building cracks; interior & exterior
- Taking calls from as needed; Security Company/Building Alarms
- Filling in for Supervisor of Building & Grounds when out of the building
- Assists with special projects & building improvements
- Runs errands, Home Depot, deliver equipment for repairs, pick up gas, etc.
- Assists with Cafeteria garbage & final daily cleaning
- Assists Supervisor with ordering/creating POs
- Painting as needed
- Supports Janitorial Staff as needed; may be responsible for janitorial tasks as needed.
- Any additional jobs/projects that become a priority
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
- May require overtime hours or off hours (Overtime and Coming in on off-hours when needed will be compensated)
Work Hours: 6:00am 2:00pm PAY RANGE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE: $18 - $22 / Hour

High School Graduate or GED, must have reliable Transportation
Must have a valid NYS Drivers License to run equipment
