Job Title:Electronics Assembler II - 2nd Shift Reporting To:Leader, Performance Work Schedule:Onsite - Buffalo, NYOur team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for an Electronics Assembler II to join them. You will report to the Performance Leader and will have an onsite, 2nd shift work schedule in Elma, New York. To be considered for Electronics Assembler II, here's what you'll need to bring with you: * High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. * At least 3 years related electrical assembly and soldering experience. * Follow strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment and participation in the company's "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position. As an Electronics Assembler II, you will: * Assemble high reliability chassis and final assemblies using circuit cards, stand offs, wire harnesses, solder and crimping, electrical and mechanical instruments. Complete inspections and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) checks. * Perform high reliability soldering and crimping operations on complex sub-assemblies, electronic, and mechanical assemblies, repair of circuit boards, jumper wires, and wire harnesses. * Solder/crimp wires and jumpers to multiple pin connectors/assemblies to meet government/customer inspection and specification. * Decipher assembly drawings Bill of Material (B.O.M) and work with electronic work instructions. * Know and follow applicable Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) procedures; understand high reliability soldering specifications and meet certification requirements as applicable. * Be familiar with several different cleaning procedures, different potting compounds, and paints. * Use a variety of tools such as regular hand tools, dial torque wrenches, auto torque drivers, crimpers, fixtures, digital calipers, solder iron, hot tweezers, heat gun, microscope, and high-resolution equipment. * Clean and maintain work areas and equipment including tools, keeping area clean from FOD.
