Summary:
The Application Analyst, Supply Chain Management assists with the design, implementation, support and maintenance of the integrity of the Supply Chain content and systems managed by Corporate Purchasing & Materials Management. Position will work closely with Catholic Health Information Systems to provide technical support for Supply Chain functions including, but not limited to, (a) Lawson Supply Chain Modules, (b) EDI procurement and invoice monitoring, (c) PICIS content integration and monitoring, (d) ChangeGear Item Add and Incident Monitoring, (e) report generation and maintenance, (f) participation in application upgrades, (g) month-end processing and (h) Content Management solution and (i) systems security. This role is responsible for the development, maintenance and implementation of systems procedures and training programs in accordance with operational needs and changes in regulatory/internal policies. This role also provides analytical support to Purchasing & Materials Management and performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Supply Chain Analytics to meet operational needs of the department.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree in Business or a related field required and one (1) years of systems or data administration experience preferred
Associates Degree in Business or a related field and three (3) years of systems or data administration experience
A minimum of five (5) years equivalent in systems or data administration experience in lieu of degree
EXPERIENCE
Supply Chain Systems experience with Lawson preferred. Experience with another system such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday, acceptable
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products
Data extract tool experience, crystal, oracle, etc
Proven data analysis and content management experience
Database management and project management experience is highly desirable
Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiencies
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
S trong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think and process analytically and logically
Knowledge of Purchasing and Value Analysis
Possess strong clerical skills and manual dexterity
Ability to write reports and analyze data
Ability to interpret data and adjust reports as needed for decision making

Travel will be required among the CHS organizations and sites
