Our client, a leader in building technologies and infrastructure solutions, is seeking a Technical Support - R&D 2 to join their team. As a Technical Support - R&D 2, you will be part of the Support Services department supporting clients with innovative HVAC controls, building automation, fire safety, and smart building technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Technical Support - R&D 2
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Pay Range: $28.00-$32.43
Shift: 8am - 5pm
What's the Job?
Handle incoming technical support requests related to building automation, HVAC controls, and other building technologies.
Respond to client inquiries via phone and web, providing troubleshooting assistance and product information.
Escalate complex issues to Field Support Engineers when necessary.
Log all support requests accurately into the company’s call tracking system.
Learn product troubleshooting on the job and participate in peer training to enhance technical knowledge.
What's Needed?
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting clients on products or in a technical support environment is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and basic networking knowledge is beneficial.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with a customer satisfaction focus.
