Position Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to provide technical architecture expertise based upon industry trends, new and advancing technology solutions, and best practices with a focus on customer experience.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversees customer engagements of both internal and external customers.
• Provide sales architecture and engineering for both internal and external customers.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software for technical solutions.
• Providetechnical mentorships for all architects, engineers and engineering resources.
• Provide technical peer review for both internal and external customers.
• Lead proof-of-concept design, deployment and ranked scorecards.
• Obtain and/or maintain valid technical certifications as required by the organization.
• Complete Statements of Work (SOW) and Builds of Materials (BOM) for customers while ensuring requirements necessary are included and followed.
• Troubleshoot efforts when case severity requires escalation.
• Provide expert-level technical abilities across multiple OEM platforms and all business verticals.
• Establish, maintain, and curate relationships with OEMs and vendors.
• Attend in-person conferences, trade shows, and customer events as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Skill Requirements:

• Bachelors degree.
• At least 10 years of related experience in a technical engineering and/or architecture role.
• At least 2 years in a customer-facing role.
• Aware of infrastructure technology trends, and the current public cloud ecosystem.
• Up to 60% of travel.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in problem discovery & solution selling.
• Highly developed attention to detail.
• Must exhibit emotional intelligence and empathy skills.
• Strong business intelligence and data analytics skills.
• Must understand the customer buying journey.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with vendors, customers, and employees.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
