Job Title: Production Associate Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and a background in manufacturing or production. This role involves assembly, inspection, and use of various tools in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assemble sub-components of motors
Pack parts for shipping
Pick items for production
Complete quality checks
Clean and prepare metal parts to eliminate oil used to prevent rust during shipping
Read and follow detailed instructions
Essential Skills
Previous production experience within manufacturing
Ability to stand for 8 hours a day
Ability to read a computer screen
Good attendance and punctuality
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Quality or packing experience
Experience in electronic assembly
Skill in assembly, tools, inspection, production, hand tools, packing, cleanroom, soldering
Tenure with previous positions (6+ months)

Work Environment
Work in the largest manufacturer of automated drives and motors, known for efficiency and reliability. The Buffalo Grove facility is extremely clean, organized, and temperature-controlled. You will be part of a team of 8-20 people, working in various production lines. The shift is from 7am-3:30pm, with optional overtime available. Be prepared to move between different tasks and areas, and enjoy working in a well-structured, supportive environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
