Siemens Smart Infrastructure has an exciting opportunity for a growth oriented, strategic, agile and innovative mind with experience in sales enablement, product marketing, and portfolio management for smart building cloud applications with related enabled services.
We are looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial professional in the building industry for our software offering to design value propositions, sales enablement strategies, create packages, position offerings in the competitive marketplace, partner concepts, and provide support for the sales and portfolio teams.
*The Portfolio Sales Enablement Professional for Digital Offerings, Building X * will focus on the enablement of local sales teams and partners to improve sales of our cloud offerings, i.e. produce, refine, and position sales enablement material in close alignment with portfolio management. The position will require close collaboration with the Software Tech Unit and local sales and portfolio teams.
This is a remote position with east coast hours preferred.
As the Portfolio Sales Enablement Professional, you will:
Develop sales enablement programs and implement them across various assets and media; develop messaging and drive content through the organization
Be the sales/partner-facing voice of the Building X portfolio with emphasis on development and articulation of customer/seller facing value-propositions and use cases
Support portfolio management with a deep understanding of our offerings and the ability to position it to meet product market demand; be competitive in the marketplace and represent the voice of the customer
Prepare various sales enablement assets, product packages, craft the portfolio message, develop use cases in the digital building area, refocus and position offer packages in the market and benchmarks it to other offerings to support meeting aggressive growth and profit margin targets
Lead and support the development, enablement, and rollout of AI‑driven sales capabilities that improve seller effectiveness across account planning, customer engagement, value positioning, and revenue growth.
Support operational Portfolio Sales Enablement Topics, such as processes, pricing or tooling related topics
Drive operational topics (e.g. drive progress gap fixes, tool readiness / data loading etc.)
Roll-out product and sales training with detailed descriptions and ensure portfolio is ready to sell
Commercialization and activation of the Building X portfolio in the US across various channels
Support and operationalize a partner enablement program — including new-partner onboarding, RACI frameworks, and training for sales and partners
Contribute to the overall development of the Siemens Xcelerator Ecosystem
You will report to Head of Software, Portfolio and Sales Enablement US and closely interact with the product portfolio team (US and global) and the digital sales teams and partner ecosystem. The person also coordinates with the marketing and communication counterparts.
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Sales Enablement & Product Marketing Professional with dedicated experience in developing Sales Enablement concepts for cloud offerings related to digital building applications and platforms
The ideal candidate has 6+ years of dedicated experience
Experience in B2B sales, Business Development, Sales Excellence and/or Digital Transformation Management within industry and/or management consultancies
Ability to think strategically and creatively whilst also executing operationally with high attention to detail and operational excellence
Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve ambiguous and highly complex problems and thrive in fast-paced matrix environments while managing multiple work streams with matrixed resources and goals while balancing business needs
Exceptional communication skills including strong international collaboration and leadership proficiencies to connect and work across organizational boundaries, including engaging with stakeholders up to a senior management level
High-energy with a passion for innovation, portfolio and sales enablement activities
Skills in analyzing the impact of sales enablement activities by measuring market potential and revenue impact of offerings and product packages
Track record of delivering business results as an outcome of sales enablement and activation activities
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to interact with customers, vendors, and colleagues
Required amount of travel with the position 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree - technical / engineering / architecture/ business / marketing preferred
Strong presentation skills
A proficient understanding of common consultative sales methodologies
A strong understanding of AI tools and how to train people to incorporate them into their daily workflows.
A proficient understanding of key marketing, technical systems, and best practices
An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
An ability to influence across a broader organization
