Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate and maintain CNC single turret lathes, ensuring the production of high-quality parts in alignment with blueprint specifications. A strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret drawings, and an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) are essential for this role. This position demands a commitment to safety and precision within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Operate single turret CNC Lathe Machines with Live Tooling capabilities.
Inspect parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, pin gages, bore gages, and plug gages.
Perform manual deburring of parts during the machining process.
Make offsets to tooling under Fanuc controls to maintain desired dimensions.
Identify and resolve machining issues like tool wear to maintain customer-required dimensions.
Accurately record production data, including quantities and quality inspections.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Familiarity with CNC lathes and precision measuring equipment.
Strong focus on accuracy and quality control.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to hold tolerances as tight as +/- 0.0002.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CNC Lathe operation is a must.

Our facility is air-conditioned, well-lit, temperature-controlled, and meticulously clean. With 60-70 CNC machines on-site, you will work in a state-of-the-art environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
