Plans, prepares, and executes work related to internal, contractor, NOJV and external audits.
Chevron Corporate Audit, co-located with Global Business Services – Finance in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina is expanding its team and opening new positions across multiple audit groups. We are seeking highly qualified professionals whose experience and skills align with our current organizational needs.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to conduct Vendor audits to ensure compliance and operational integrity
In addition to building subject matter expertise in the above Corporate Audit Cost Recovery service line, candidates will also have the opportunity to broaden their audit skills in Corporate Audit’s other lines of service which include Assurance (including SOX), Advisory and Investigation Support.

Job Description
The Internal Auditor will play a key role in supporting Chevron’s worldwide operations and functions through the execution of comprehensive audit activities. These positions include leading co-sourced or outsourced audit teams, evaluating contract agreement compliance (particularly billing accuracy) and internal controls, and identifying opportunities for financial recovery and process improvements. The auditor will represent Chevron during audit engagements and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address audit observations which may result in claims or findings. Ongoing stakeholder engagement will also be required post-audit to resolve any monetary claims.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Accountant or related.
+7 years of relevant work experience in Finance or Procurement.
At least 2 years of experience in Audit, industry and/or public accounting.
Experience in Contract Management is preferably related to CAPEX expenditures and Technical Services. Upstream background on operated and non-operated JV.
Advanced level of English.
Demonstrates fluency in digital tools and interpreting data analytics to support decision-making.
Knowledge of contracting and procurement processes, systems and controls, business value drivers and key financial risks.
Availability to travel internationally (10-15% of the time)
