Summary:
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to join our Commercial Solar Solutions team. In this role, you will support B2B accounts while managing the successful execution of commercial solar projects - from material procurement through final delivery. You'll serve as a trusted partner to customers and internal teams, helping drive revenue growth, streamline operations, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in impactful projects, strengthen strategic partnerships, and contribute to the continued expansion of renewable energy solutions. At least 2 years of Sales, Account Management or Project Management experience strongly encouraged.
Reports to: Sales Manager, Branch Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to provide high level of customer service and handle multiple priorities at once is essential
Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision needed
Proven experience in account management, project management, or technical sales
Strong organization and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals confidently and professionally
Excellent customer service skills combined with leadership qualities to guide clients through the permitting process involved in commercial solar projects
Comfortability working both independently and on a team
Must be at least 18 years of age
Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by Greentech Renewables now or in the future)
ADDITIONAL PROFICIENCIES
Must have stellar multitasking and prioritizing ability, as well as a strong sense of urgency
Must have stellar communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be organized, possess strong problem-solving skills
Must show initiative, self-motivation, perseverance
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field
Knowledge of solar technology, energy markets, and related regulations is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Working Conditions:
Conditions vary and will include warehouse, office and external environments. Activities will include lifting, sorting, standing, possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Office work may include sitting for extended periods. May include some travel – both by car and by air.

Essential Job Functions:
Proactive customer account management - accountable for specific customer accounts and ensuring a high level of service and long-term relationship growth
Work closely with Sales Managers to ensure customer strategy is executed successfully
Convert customer PO’s into sales orders, offer product expertise and value-added recommendations where applicable
Engage in pricing and availability discussions with customers & outside sales teams
Conduct quoting and negotiations with clients over phone, email, and sometimes in person to win projects efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction
Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure accuracy and on-time deliverables
Develop processes and strategies to help customers stay organized and informed, and to make it easy for the customers to provide forecasting for their upcoming needs
Engage in ongoing learning and training in solar equipment to give customers advice on products and product alternatives
Provide insight into purchasing decisions for the Company team based on conversations with customers and a well-established customer relationship
Develop and maintain positive relationships with new and existing solar manufacturers
Proactive communication with customers of project timelines and expectations

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $80000 to $105000 annually.
