Job Description:
Arrow Electronics is seeking energetic and enthusiastic Warehouse Operations Support Associates to join our fast-paced electronics distribution center. As a Warehouse Operations Support Associate (Warehouse Associate III), you will play a key role in the effective handling and processing of electronic component customer orders. You will work within a dynamic team to achieve the quality, efficiency, and service goals of the Primary Distribution Center.
This role operates Monday – Friday, with regular overtime required depending on business needs. Impeccable attendance is essential to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
Support all departments, including receiving, storing, inventory, shipping, dispatch, and picking.
Assist with inventory management and fill in as needed.
Help with scheduling trucks and uploading orders to third-party partners.
Provide support with ongoing team training and assist in the implementation of new processes and changes.
Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to contribute to department-wide production & quality goals
Identify areas for improvement and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Mentor and assist co-workers in developing their skills and identifying areas for improvement.
What We Are Looking For
Proficiency in safely operating facility material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, Box Truck, and pallet/wrapping equipment).
Ability to perform end-user computer functions, including data entry and interpreting information from warehouse systems (e.g., RF units, computer terminals).
Demonstrated ability to train and certify new hires and employees in all warehouse functions, including equipment operation.
Effective support in scheduling trucks.
This position involves standing and or walking for considerable lengths of time. Consistently bending to floor level and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required
Must have strong attention to detail
Proficient Reading, writing, and understanding of English language
