POSITION SUMMARY
As a Kitchen Supervisor at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill , you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional, world‑class dining experience that reflects the Gordon Ramsay brand’s commitment to culinary excellence, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cooks and kitchen team members in accordance with Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill brand standards.
Determine food presentation, plating techniques, garnish, and decorative displays to ensure visually appealing, high‑quality dishes.
Ensure proper portion control, arrangement, and presentation of all menu items prior to service.
Monitor food production levels to maintain freshness, minimize waste, and support service demands.
Communicate menu specials, recipe changes, and out‑of‑stock items to Food & Beverage service staff in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare special meals or approved substitutions to accommodate guest preferences or dietary requirements.
Assist cooks and kitchen staff with preparation, cooking, and plating as needed.
Ensure cooks have all necessary tools, ingredients, and supplies to perform their duties efficiently.
Monitor inventory levels of food and kitchen supplies and report needs to management.
Maintain accurate kitchen logs in compliance with food safety regulations and the food safety program.
Conduct quality checks and immediately notify management if food products fail to meet Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill specifications.
Leadership & Team Management
Assist management in hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching kitchen employees.
Lead by example to foster a high‑performance culture consistent with Gordon Ramsay’s culinary standards.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members while supporting shared goals.
Ensure adherence to all quality expectations, service standards, and operational procedures.
Safety, Compliance & Professional Conduct
Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
Report maintenance issues, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management promptly.
Complete all required safety training and certifications.
Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance at all times.
Protect confidential and proprietary information and safeguard company assets.
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, colleagues, and leadership.
Address guest service needs promptly and effectively.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Perform physical activities including reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
Related Work Experience: 4 to 6 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
