IBM German speaking tactical buyer in BUDAPEST, Hungary
Introduction
IBM is looking for a self-driven procurement professional, with fluent German/French and English language knowledge to support its prestigious Client from the Pharmaceutical industry as Tactical Buyer.
Your role and responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Tactical Buyer are:
Manage tactical sourcing projects (i.e. spot buy, project-based purchasing) individually.
Perform periodic analyses within managed commodity scope to identify savings, define efficiency opportunities and tactical initiatives. Support Category Managers’ work and the Category strategy as required.
Negotiate and contract suppliers.
Additional responsibilities
Provide multi-category support assigned by the sourcing lead, coming from main stakeholders.
Execute competitive bid events.
Analyze changing client/market conditions.
Interface with Strategic Sourcing Team to implement strategic contracts at a tactical level.
Support client specific category strategies.
Re-direct tactical spend through strategic contracts/channels as appropriate.
Promote process efficiencies through focus on automated channels.
Track and report supplier performance, resolve supplier issues.
