Ab out the Function
Financial Controlling and Analysis (FC&A) Tower is part of Global Business Operations and provides oversight on financial activities and controls including general accounting, management and external reporting and financial planning and analysis. The tower interprets fiscal and regulatory data. It coordinates and manages financial and statutory reporting. It also manages the P&L and balance sheet, delivering solutions that increase insight and transparency.
Ab out the Role
The Financial Controlling Lead Analyst will support the team members with technical related questions and issues, also support people in different functions such as tax, group accounting when it comes to financial controlling, technical accounting matters.
Top Accountabilities
Ensure smooth and accurate month-end closes, the timely and accurate submission of the financial & statutory report
Give technical accounting support within his/her own discipline to the FC team,
Partner with the RTR team to ensure the information in the legal entity financial statements accurately and completely reflects our business operations
Support the decision making process with different financial controlling analysis,
Ensure that the policies and procedures are understood and followed in the team and act as advisor to other GBO group function teams
Perform month end close responsibilities including journal entry preparation, supports the reconciliation process (e.g. accounting guidance and ensuring proper backup information and data in alignment with PCAOB requirements)
Prepare financial & statutory reports and oversee the statutory adjustment and transfer pricing process
Ensure that financial & statutory processes are undertaken accurately, efficiently, on time and that the surrounding control procedures are strictly adhered to in line with the internal (CARM) and external requirements
About You
Degree educated in relevant finance / accounting/ business
Qualified accountant
4-5 years’ experience in relevant area
Experience working within an international / multicultural environment
Exemplary Risk Management (Internal Controls, Managing Risk, Embedding Compliance & Ethics)
Strong Financial Controlling knowledge (Balance sheet, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles)
Strong analytical skills to be able to see and understand the big picture and deliver high level message, offering solutions for issues
Fluent English knowledge
