IBM EMEA Accounts Payable Specialist in BUDAPEST, Hungary

Introduction

We are looking for an addition to our Accounts Payable Center to assist our already established Invoice Management squads for the EMEA region. You will be providing financial support to the Accounts Payable organization. Our center handles all kinds of tasks that are required from invoice reception until invoice payment. As you will be working in an agile environment you need to be open to learn new things and strive for innovation.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Handling invoice scanning requests

  • Manage data registration and payment runs in IBM systems

  • Payment related queries

  • Follow up on invoices pending with AP to be processed

  • Ensuring that items are processed correctly

  • Assist with the error resolution and controlling tasks

  • Investigation/Analysis on rejected invoice

  • Helping team members in invoice operation

  • Answering requests from other teams

  • Knowing country specifics, AP processes

  • Assist with vendor details clarification

Required technical and professional expertise

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

  • Project management skills

  • Ability to adapt and manage change effectively

  • Good time management with ability to prioritize effectively

  • CAAPS or SAP expertise

  • Previous experience in Finance

  • English language proficiency

  • Confident Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to communicate, organize and work under own initiative

  • Analytical skills

  • Teamwork

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Advanced Invoice Analysis: Exposure to complex invoice analysis and issue resolution, including data verification and quality checks to ensure accurate processing. • Payment System Optimization: Experience working with payment processing systems to optimize payment processing and investigate discrepancies. • Quality Control Expertise: Exposure to quality control processes to prevent errors and ensure accurate processing of invoices, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
