What you’ll do:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to provide vital finance support within the CoE team. This role involves executing accounting processes, post-payroll activities and coordinating with both internal stakeholders and external providers. The ideal candidate will facilitate seamless book keeping processes, ensure compliance and accuracy, and maintain high standards of customer service.
Support monthly payroll process:
Perform all necessary review, analysis and postings required in line with month end requirements and in line with accounting standards.
Acquire & maintain complete understanding of the Eaton financial analysis tools including Oracle / SAP etc
Coordinate the booking of the monthly entries with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely booking of monthly general ledger entries
Prepare&Review the monthly reconciliations and resolve any anomalies
Provide financial and operational support for ad hoc issue resolution, including queries from internal stakeholders and audit teams
Coordinate data uploads & payments to external payroll service providers
Support ongoing/annual legal changes which impact payroll calculation
Coordinate all year-end reporting requirements
Process historical payroll data queries
Coordinate local country Tax & Security reporting & funding
Perform detailed review and validation of the payroll exceptions report provided by the external payroll provider, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Conduct reasonableness checks of payroll calculations, comparing trends and variances
Confirmation of the final payroll run with local controllers
Coordination of the payment of all payroll runs (Initiation+approval collection)
Strong English language capabilities is essential, additional language skills would be advantageous
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from an accredited institution or equivalent professional degree
Advanced PC / Technical Skills and Experience with Microsoft Office Products including, MS Excel and MS Outlook
Advanced knowledge of ERP preferably Oracle&SAP
Strong English language capabilities is essential, additional language skills would be advantageous (German, Italian, French)
1-2 years experience in accounting environment preferably
Skills:
Understanding of basic trial balance accounting
