Who we are
We are searching for a highly engaged Application Engineer (Java & AWS) to join a key project that provides a centralized vehicle image repository used by multiple downstream systems. Our mission is to deliver high‑quality, consistent image data to ensure premium vehicle presentation across a large ecosystem of applications.
This is a modern, technically challenging environment offering ownership, scale, and meaningful impact, with strong potential for long-term collaboration.
What you'll be doing
Designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, Load Balancers, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda)
Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
Contributing to backend development using Java (Quarkus) and Python
Ensuring platform availability, performance, scalability, and security
Implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues under strict SLAs
Participating in the on-call rotation to ensure operational stability
Working closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders to improve deployment and operational workflows
Driving automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and increase reliability
Supporting continuous improvement of system architecture and operational excellence
(Nice to have) Contributing to frontend-related tasks using Angular, LitElements, or Vue.js
What you'll bring along
Bachelor’s degree in Informatics or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Solid hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, Load Balancers, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda)
Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
Backend development skills in Java (preferably with Quarkus) and Python
Proven experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, monitoring, and cloud-native architectures
Experience supporting production environments with strict SLAs
Availability to participate in on-call rotations
(Nice to have) Knowledge of modern frontend technologies (Angular, LitElements, Vue.js)
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
Ability to document solutions clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
