The role

Location: Bucharest or Timisoara, Romania | Work arrangement: Hybrid | Contract type: Full-time | Language requirements: Fluent/professional Romanian, written and verbal; communicative English

    At SoftwareOne, our ServiceNow Technical Consultants design, build, and optimize ServiceNow solutions that support real business outcomes. In this role, you will focus on hands-on implementation, custom development, and integrations, working closely with Architects, Business Consultants, and customers to deliver scalable, well-designed solutions across ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow modules using best practices and out-of-the-box capabilities

  • Build custom solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript, flows, UI components, and data model extensions

  • Create and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, JDBC, Integration Hub, MID Servers, and Service Graph

  • Implement workflows and automations based on solution designs and user stories

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure platform stability and performance

  • Document technical designs, configurations, and custom developments clearly and consistently

What we need to see from you

  • Hands-on experience as a ServiceNow developer or technical consultant

  • Understanding of the ServiceNow platform: CMDB, data model, ACLs, Business Rules, Catalog, Portals, Workspaces, reports, and dashboards

  • Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP), identity systems (Entra ID, LDAP, SSO), and third-party tools

  • Practical knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, and/or ITAM, including Discovery and Service Mapping fundamentals

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); CIS certifications are a strong plus

  • A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn and grow
