IBM Senior .NET Developer (Financial Systems) in Bucharest, Romania

Your role and responsibilities
Join us and support a major financial services client within a complex, enterprise-grade ecosystem. As a Senior .NET Developer, you will design and build integration components connecting BNPAM platforms with external financial systems. You’ll work in a regulated environment where security, scalability, and stability are critical.
You will:
• Develop backend solutions using C# and .NET
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and integration services
• Implement messaging solutions (Kafka, MQ)
• Ensure compliance with architectural and security standards
• Support production stability and contribute to incident resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams in an Agile environment
This role offers exposure to capital markets systems and the opportunity to grow toward Integration SME, Solutions Architect, or Tech Lead paths within IBM’s Microsoft Practice.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Typically, 4+ years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET backend development
• Experience building integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, MQ or similar)
• Exposure to financial systems or capital markets environments
• English at professional level
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Experience with BlackRock Aladdin or similar financial platforms
• Containerization experience (Docker)
• Exposure to NoSQL databases
• Azure cloud exposure
• Full-stack experience
• French language proficiency is considered an asset, but not mandatory.
