We have an opportunity for Project Engineer II to join our team in Bucharest.
Responsibilities:
Executes work assignment at the appropriate standards and quality following the design inputs such as Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Detailed Design Specifications (DDS), System Architecture.
Creates System Architectures, Network DDS and IP Lists
Creates the FAT, SAT procedures and Operator manuals.
Installation and configuration of Switches and Routers
Installation and configuration of Servers and Workstations
Configuration and deployment of virtual machines using VMware's vSphere
Domain Controllers migration
Experion PKS system upgrades and on-process migrations at customer locations
Honeywell controller firmware upgrades
Troubleshooting and system maintenance
Protection (backup) of nodes by using Acronis Cyber Protect
Participates to Kick Off Meetings, internal FATs, FATs, SATs, Commissioning, and start-up.
Effectively communicates with customers to fully define and agree project requirements.
The engineer makes sure the scope and schedule are monitored and met.
Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group.
Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline, and other engineering disciplines.
Reports progress and technical problems and / or changes to project lead engineer or Project Manager.
Provide consultancy and technical support for project estimation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor / Master of Science Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Preferred specializations: Automation and Computers, Informatics, Mathematics, Cybernetics, Electronics.
Fluent in English communication
Minimum 4 years of hands on experience with DCS project engineering, installation, commissioning, and system acceptance in domestic and overseas projects.
Electrical knowledge and design. Autocad is a plus.
Experience in Information Technology
Strong diagnostic and analytical skills including problem solving, trouble shooting, management of priorities and self-direction to resolve complex issues
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft related technologies
Experience with VMWare software
Experience in providing services via remote connectivity
CISCO Certified Network courses (Cisco's CCNA) is a plus
Installation and maintenance of Operating systems experience; Virtual machines and Hypervisor platforms experience
Troubleshooting skills to resolve basic network and application or system integration issues
Working experience with TCP/IP networks (network/device configuration)
Microsoft – Active Directory, AD Group Policy, DNS, WSUS, Terminal Server
Understanding the functionalities of a Domain Controller, DNS, OU, GPO's
Advanced knowledge of MS Access package
Experience with any of the programing languages for PLCs (Ladder diagram, Function Block diagram, Structured Text or Sequential function chart) is a plus
Experience with integrating third-party systems is a plus
Experience in programming is a plus
Willingness to travel within and outside of Europe
Valid driver's license
Understands the importance of health and safety aspects to be able to manage projects properly
