Your role and responsibilities
Join IBM Consulting and work on enterprise SAP environments supporting global clients. As a Junior SAP ABAP Developer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of SAP solutions within an S/4HANA landscape while building your expertise in Master Data Governance (MDG).
Working alongside experienced SAP developers, you will support enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and participate in the delivery of technical solutions that improve system performance and support business operations.
In this role you will:
• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, and enhancements
• Support bug fixing and troubleshooting within the SAP environment
• Implement BADIs, user exits, and other technical enhancements
• Participate in the development of interfaces and integrations
• Assist in resolving support tickets and production issues
• Collaborate with senior developers and project teams to deliver technical solutions
• Build exposure to SAP MDG concepts and development practices
You will work in a collaborative delivery environment supporting a well-known global brand within an S/4HANA landscape, with opportunities to expand your SAP technical expertise.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Min. 1+ years’ experience with SAP ABAP development
• Understanding of reports, debugging, enhancements, BADIs, and user exits
• Familiarity with SAP development standards and best practices
• Basic knowledge of SAP architecture and development lifecycle
• Ability to work collaboratively within delivery teams
• Comfortable using English in a business environment
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Exposure to SAP MDG concepts
• Experience with S/4HANA development
• Knowledge of CDS Views or OData services
• Experience working in SAP implementation or support projects
