IBM Java Developer w. French in Bucharest, Romania
Introduction
Drive cross-collaboration and execution of requests.
Lead designs for major features and perform root cause analysis for complex production problems.

Your role and responsibilities
As a Java Developer/Team Lead, you will be in charge with managing and leading the development/maintenance of a portfolio of banking applications that cover a diverse technological landscape (Java, Oracle, Angular, IBM Cloud) for the insurance domain of a multinational banking company. You will also have the responsibility to supervise, grow and motivate project groups in order to sustain delivery excellence and high performing teams.
Required technical and professional expertise
Ability to speak and write in French fluently.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in technical leadership, leading project teams, and setting technical direction.
Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable solution architectures.
Experience writing software in Java (using Springboot, Spring batch, JPA/hibernate, REST services, Kafka).
Experience writing Front-end components using Angular.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Artifactory or similar.
Experience communicating technical concepts to audiences.
Experience managing Java teams and projects.
